When an order is confirmed by the guest
- Slack KOT fires immediately to #kitchen-fsl (per slot, one ticket: room, time, location, num covers, per-person items + modifiers + sides + drinks)
- WhatsApp confirmation sent to the room's guest service group
- Order locks 40 min before slot start — guest can edit until then
- Charge for extras (if any) auto-posted to the folio via
post-charge
Daily kitchen summary
- 06:30 AM Slack message to #kitchen-fsl aggregating every order for the morning
- Grouped by time slot — cooks see prep counts at a glance
- Per-room breakdown: room, covers, location, items
Status updates (optional)
- Preparing: Slack-button click → "Your breakfast is being prepared 👨🍳" goes to room group
- Ready: Slack-button click → "Your breakfast is ready and on its way 🛎️"
- Delivered: Slack-button click → "Enjoy your breakfast! 🌅"
- Disable any of these if you don't want guests notified at every stage

How presentation flows
- Each main course can carry plating notes (added in its edit dialog)
- Notes appear on the Slack KOT and the daily summary so the kitchen sees them at prep time
- Two layers of notes:
- Prep notes: "Roll fresh, soft cook" — for the cook
- Plating notes: "Serve on warm plate, garnish with coriander" — for the line / steward
- In-room deliveries also get a "Tray setup" note (linen, condiment caddy, water carafe) — global default below, override per dish if needed
